I hope this message finds you well and smiling. After nearly 8 years of serving our community with dedication and a deep sense of pride, I am writing to share some significant news about the future of Thessalon Dental.

As of April 18, 2024, I will be stepping away from Thessalon Dental to pursue a new opportunity in the city of Sault Ste. Marie. This decision comes with a mix of emotions, as I have cherished the relationships and trust we've built over the years. Your smiles, stories, and trust have been the highlight of my career.

However, the legacy of quality dental care we’ve created together is in excellent hands. I am thrilled to announce that our talented and dedicated hygienist, Emily Golec, will be leading the practice forward as Thessalon Dental Hygiene*— an independent dental hygiene practice. Emily has been an integral part of our team for 3 years and shares our commitment to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and comforting environment.

Your Appointments: All scheduled dental hygiene appointments will proceed as planned. We encourage you to continue your regular dental hygiene visits with Emily to maintain your oral health.

For those who wish to continue their dental care with Dr. Detert, he will begin full-time practice as an associate of Lake Superior Family Dentistry (formerly Dr. Lynda Robb Family Dentistry) at 440 Pim St, in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
